Diana Walstad

Diana Walstad DONATED AN AUTOGRAPHED COPY OF HER NEW BOOK: Aquarium Fish Reproduction. This reference book contains the latest information on fish mating behavior, inbreeding, outbreeding, genetics, and evolution. Artificial insemination, in vitro fertilization, genotyping, and sophisticated mate-choice testing have revealed new secrets in fish reproductive behavior. The book introduces scientific thinking to non-scientists and makes it accessible to those up for a challenge. The author includes the fish breeding strategies of various experts along with her own in breeding guppies.

Diana is also known for her book, The Ecology of the Planted Aquarium, which discusses the advantages of keeping planted aquariums with real soil in the bottom.
