Volunteers

Okay people start thinking about volunteering for the auction. March 27th will be here before you know it. Check your schedules and make sure they're clear that weekend. I'll be listing the positions here shortly.

Okay here we go. The following is the list of duties and definitions.

Seller table - this person will be responsible for taking the seller forms, this person will need to accept these forms prior to the auction and should be done with this duty by 11 a.m. If a seller comes in late this person or myself can accept forms. Mike W.

Buyer table - this person(s) will hand out the buyer forms and bid numbers. They will take the bid receipts and log purchases to the buyer sheets. They will also take money when the bidders settle up for their purchases.

Bidder slips - this person(s) will fill out the bid slips prior to the item being auctioned. these bid slips will need the bag id and description added to them. This person(s) will have to have runners retrieve bags to be auctioned and keep the bags and slips together to be handed to the runners. Kenna

Auctioneers - anybody that wants to do this can Kevin and Michael but anybody that wants to do this is welcome

Buy it now table - this person will sell pre-priced items Kevin and Sundance
Refreshment table - this person will sell chips and pop
***** I'm hoping to combine these 2 tables and one person hopefully can run both aspects of these tables.

Runners - we're gonna get volunteers from the bidders

I'd like to see more than one person per duty, that way we can trade off. I'd like to even have the core of the club to be familar with each duty.

I'd be willing to do any of those jobs, except that I'd like to see Michael and Kevin do the auctioneering. They are experienced and good at it. So I guess I'll hang back and see if others have favorite duties, and I'll take what's left over.

Corey,

If the seller table job will largely be done by the start of the auction, perhaps I should sign up for that one. It might free me up to take some photos of the event for our gallery.

Sundance, let's let Mike do the seller table. I have a feeling it's gonna be tough getting Mike to stay in one place once the auction gets going. The sellers' table should be done hopefully by 11 and if someone shows up late, Mike, I, or whoever is at the buyers' table can handle it. We'll definitely have a spot for you. Stay tuned.

Cory, I know some of us are currently planning on coming down from HAAS. Not sure who. Even though not a NWAS member, I will help where ever you need me. I would bet that some of the the HAAS members that are coming down would be glad to help. You may want to post if you need more help on the HAAS site.

Unless I am needed elsewhere, I will do bidder slips. I've done them before for HAAS, so at least I won't be completely lost!

As far as I know, myself, Rick, Mike, and Otto will be there. I am up for whatever you need except auctioneering. Prolly wouldnt be very good at it. I will let Mike and Rick volunteer themselves.

Assuming we all ride down together, only two questions:

1) Any bridges with weight limits we need to avoid?
2) do you need any bouncers?

I have no idea how many Tulsa people will make it.

Kayla and I should be there the entire time.

Opinions differ on whether we behave or not. Looks like Rick, Fred, Mikey, and me in my truck. Not sure who else is coming but I doubt if this crew can be trusted.
