Collecting Net Repair

Post by dennysfishroom »

I was trying to clean out one of my ponds a few days ago. Apparently there was more junk than I anticipated because as I was lifting it out, the netting on the collecting net pulled loose. The frame is made out of metal tubing that is slit on one side, and then the net is fed into the resulting slit. The weight of the debris caused the tubing to open up. I've tried to tighten up the slit, but so far no luck. Somehow, I'll have to look for another alternative repair. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Perhaps some cable ties could pull it tight?
