Gyre Water Current Device

It seems like there was a discussion recently about setting up water current for hillstream loaches, darters, or some other fishes that like strong current along the bottom. I see there is a new style "gyre" device you can get that creates laminar flow along the top that circles along the bottom. It might be a good choice for such a setup:
