Aquarium Maintenance

Post by dennysfishroom »

It's amazing what you find when you do routine aquarium maintenance. My central systems were set up with an air valve on the water line so I could shed a small amount of the aquarium water whenever my water pump was running. Unless I checked it quite frequently, the valves or water line could become clogged, with no water being disposed of i.e. no automatic water changes. When I checked today, all of the valves or tubing were blocked. I fixed it, but will have to monitor to see that they continue dumping water. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!
