Fish for summer pond

Post by JoanneDisFan »

I've got a small pond that I'm setting up for the summer. I'm putting some plants out there was thinking of what fish to add. Ideally, something that could handle the warm weather and breed. I was thinking a livebearer of some kind. Any suggestions?

I've had some success with swords, platies, variatus and mollies. Go for it. Denny

Would danios work outdoors?
I was thinking about some ponds too.

I would think most danios would do well. They are all pretty hardy and able to take temperature changes. They may not do too well in the breeding department, however. Denny
