WE ARE REMODELING
Our website lacked a webmaster and was lost during the disarray of COVID. We are rebuilding it. The forum bulletin board is ready to go with an updated version that will now also work on phones! Soon, we will proceed to install the other pages and features, with plans to modernize the site. Welcome back!

NOTE: We had to restore data from a very old 6/20/2017 backup version of our database. So if you opened your account after that date, it will be missing and you will need to create a new account.

The NWAAS April 8th program is "The Aquarium in Your Backyard (Native Fishes)," by Kevin Mouser. Come learn which natives fishes and critters are good candidates for your home aquarium. Find more information HERE.

Daphnia

Post by dennysfishroom »

I may have a culture of Daphnia magna going. I got one at ALA, and it looks like they are viable. It may be awhile until there are enough to sell, but let me know if you're interested. Denny

I have a beautifyl green tank ready for some. Anyone think maybe the bella vista golf ponds would have some?

I'll have to hope these rains didn't wash all the daphnia out of my pond. Denny

They did. I haven't tried to net any yet to see how many I've got, but I could see them swimming around. I'll probably try to feed some - I've got a couple pairs set up that might enjoy them. Denny
