Post by kribkid17 »

i went collecting by myself and i caught alot of fat heads, shiners, crayfish(my fish ate those up), plains killifish, a small small catfish, darters, a scruplin, and alot of others. i caught this darter and i liked it so i kept it. It has a couple streaks of color on its first dorsal fin.

Orange Throat Darter by the looks of it, probably female.

What river system were you collecting in?

I think it is called clear creek or spring creek. Yes I do know the origins of the river.

Idk, I didn't want to get poked by it so I flipped the net and away it went. It was only about 5 inches.
