It's official. NWAAS will be having it's fall auction on December 3rd at Riordan Hall in Bella Vista. Unfortunately the room was already booked for October and November. That's teh reason for the late fall date. Great news is, we got the auditorium again for the cost of a smaller room.

Might even be able to call this a winter auction!

The retail fish business is always stronger in December than in September, October, or November. Maybe that will translate to more auction sales, too!

Technically, this is still a Fall auction BTW. Winter doesn't start until the winter solstice on December 21st. Denny

Trent has a basketball game at Gravette the day of the auction. We will be bringing some stuff and will help set up, hopefully the game will be over early enough to get back to the auction. Would anyone be willing to bid on some stuff for us if there is something we can't live without?
Also is TAB available

Are we doing the express bid thing? It sounds like there might be some call for it this time around. I believe that is the name for it, when a bidder pays a runner $1 (or whatever) to take a bag up to the front to be bid on immediately. That enables a bidder that has to leave for some reason to have a chance at an item. It has drawbacks, I'm sure, just can't remember if we ever really addressed it.

I'm sure it is here, somewhere, but what time do those of us helping need to be there? 10?

Yes 10 is fine. I'll be there at 8 setting up.
Great news, a person called yesterday and is donating a 75 gallon tank to be auctioned as a donation to the club. So if you've been looking for a big tank at a reasonable price, here's your chance!

Do we have any new retailer/manufacturer donations, or are we just finishing off the stuff we got before?

Corey is tired of storing the old stuff, so wants to move it out. Then we'll resubmit and have new stuff for our Spring auction. Denny
