Anyone in the club still keeping the axolotls? I was thinking at least one person down there got one or some.

I just put mine together in possible paired lots. I am curious about how they will do together and if they will reproduce. I think they are such curious and interesting creatures.
I placed them in plastic storage boxes about 20 by 25 by 15 with some floating plants and java moss. Not sure what else to do for them but wait.

Will let you know if there is any action.

What are they??? The pics look like a cross between a newt and a bullfrog tadpole.

I had one, but it disappeared. The Axolotl is a salamander that never leaves the "larval" stage. They keep the gills, and reproduce without ever leaving the water. Denny

Jack, from what I've read, they are fairly easy to get breeding. So you should eventually have some luck with them.
