dwarf baby tears

any one know of a local source for baby dwarf tears?
love to add it to my plant collection

I don't know of anyone who grows it locally, it's pretty tough to get it growing. I think most people who have success with it start it with immersed growth then have high co2 and nutrients afterwards. plantedtank.net has people selling it pretty regularly. Best of luck getting some, it's such a cool plant.

Besides the CO2, I'd recommend mixing sand with the gravel, or using sand alone. The spaces between gravel are just too large to hold this plant in place, and it ends up floating.

Got some reg baby tears from Worlds underwater ganna get them going submersed and emerged and see if i can get a supply going. what test do you plant guys do on your tanks other then PH,Amonia,Nitrate, and nitrates if any?

I don't do any special tests on my plant tanks. I just recommend changing water.

Just remember when he says change your water, he is not saying from liquid to a solid! :lol:
