HAAS Changes Meeting Day

HAAS decided to meet on the second Saturday of the month this next year (2012). We may have to plan some combined meetings or activities.

Works for me! I have most of my bills due between the first and the tenth so I might be able to have gas money to actually make a meeting then.

Bummer. Now HAAS, OKAA, and NWAAS (Kansas City, Oklahoma, and our club) all meet on the same day. It pretty much rules out future group trips by our club to attend other meetings in the region, because it would decimate attendance at our own meeting. And it forces those of us who speak at other clubs to choose between speaking and attending our own meeting.
But I understand why they did it-- problems with meeting space and all. Maybe we should think about moving our NWAAS meeting to a different week to prevent the conflict.
