The hot summer weather stopped us from doing this earlier, but now it's a go-- the NWAAS 2012 Picnic. All forum or society members and their families are invited. The club will provide hotdogs and hamburgers. We ask all attendees to bring a side dish or beverages.

We have a large covered porch in case weather goes bad, and yard games can be set up in the front yard. There is a high chance of seeing raccoons, deer, or other wildlife in the backyard.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP in a message below so that we can be sure to have enough hot dogs and hamburgers on hand. Also post what side dish you are bringing, to eliminate duplicates.

Trent and I wont be making it to the picnic. I've had a whirwind of a month, my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and her is having surgery Friday, so I will spend most of the weekend at Washington Regional. Plus Trents football team is in undefeated 1st place and plays Saturday afternoon.

Sorry guys I won't be able to make it. The daughter had her baby last night and we're gonna have a family get-together Saturday.

Don't forget, people. If you want to attend the picnic, you need to RSVP, so we know how much meat to buy.

Folks, I'm sorry to say that the club picnic that was set for this weekend is canceled. The hot weather prevented us from having the picnic earlier this summer, and now they are calling for 50°F and rain this weekend. I guess we are jinxed. So we'll try again next year.

We have been wanting to take a club trip to visit the Oklahoma Aquarium in Tulsa. So we will try to plan that soon.

Let us know when you want to do the OK Aquarium and we can try for a joint venture.
