So I have some large sword plants that have taken a pretty good beating from some severum I have in the tank. I've removed them from that tank and trying to get them back looking healthy. They have a lot of damaged leaves though, probably 70% of them have some damage. Whats the best way to go about this, is it possible to just cut all the damaged leaves off? Can you cut them all off and get it to grow new?

I trim mine pretty often because there is always new growth coming in so, I just clip off the torn up leaves. I never uprooted them & did It, however.

They should be fine.I have 4 in a 55 & they would cover the whole tank if I let them. I sent you a P.M.

Remove the damaged leaves. They sap strength from the rest of the plant. But if all are damaged, don't remove all at once. You'll need some photosynthesis to feed the regenerated growth.
