Colored sand substrate

I I've been searching for a color sand substrate material, such as the no longer available 3M colorquartz. The only thing I found "locally" is a product called HP quartz sold by a tile store in Oklahoma City. Would anyone be interested in this product? Its quite a trip for just a bag of sand! Would anyone want to go in on a cost share? I would be willing to make the trip and pickup several bags to share with the community.

Or does anyone know of any alternative?

Make sure it's aquarium safe. I would guess that colored sand is safe, but lots of tub/tile type products have arsenic added to kill mold. It kills fish, too.

I called them, and was told they sell it for aquariums all the time.

You need to arrange to make one of our meetings in conjunction with your trip :) www.theokaa.org

You might get more response if you could post a link to the product colors, package sizes, etc.

I think i've found a substiture, bits a compromise but closer and cheaper. I'd still be interested in this product if i ever get my way to OC.
