Water Pumping System

For those of you who have been over to see my tanks, you've seen my water system in action. For several months now I've been having problems with parts of it supplying water to some of my tanks. I kept thinking it was a pump problem, and kept procrastinating doing anything to fix it. Well one of my pumps finally failed recently, and I installed a pond pump I had picked up at Harbor Freight. The volume was rated higher than the pump I had, but I was still having problems getting water to some tanks. Yesterday I went down to the fish room and found water on the floor. Turns out some of my connections where just friction fits, and the new pipe was blowing the connections apart. This morning I removed the water valves to the problem tanks, and found solid obstructions to water flow. I cleaned them out, and as soon as I get some pipe clamps I'll be restarting the system. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Denny
