Kyle Osterholt's bio:
"I have lived in the small town of Okarche, Oklahoma, all my life. I have always enjoyed the chance to go fishing and kept small aquariums off and on through childhood. After marrying my wife, Monica, in 2003, we found we shared the desire to keep an aquarium-- which quickly turned into over 60 tanks of various sizes. We have kept all sorts of freshwater fish as well as some brackish and a short try with saltwater. One of the first fish that plunged us deep into the hobby was the tiny shell-dwelling cichlid from Lake Tanganyika, Neolamprologus multifasciatus. I have been keeping the same colony going for over 10 years now. I am a longtime member and official of the Oklahoma Aquarium Association, and have been a member of the ACA, ALA, and AKA for several years. I'm also the current Vice President of the Federation of Texas Aquarium Societies. I have also been a member of several nearby clubs through the years."

Nice job on your talk tonight, Kyle. And thanks again for switching speaking dates with me, due to unexpected surgery. I really appreciated it.

I don't know what happened last night with Kyles talk, but the digital gremlins were out in full force. Saying that Kyle did a good job seems so inadequate in light of what he was up against. Really good super amazing job Kyle. Denny

Yeah, I don't know what happened with the projector between last month and this, but I'll try to figure it out and get it fixed.

thanks guys, I had hoped not to totally disappoint. Only having one person with previous knowledge about my talk helped :)

no problem Mike, I was glad things worked out. we had a wonderful weekend in the area. Funny, it rained on us on the way there, rained while we were in the hotel getting ready to hit the town in Eureka Springs Thursday afternoon and then rained last night after the talk but the whole time we were out and about it was great weather. couldn't have asked for better. I just hope your recovery is quick and without anymore hiccups.

no big deal on the hardware issue, not the first time I've been at a meeting where similar things happened.

If any of you guys start thinking about setting up a shelldweller tank, give me a shout and I'll do what I can to help out. I'll probably try to either make your fall auction and bring some shells or at least mail some over and donate them to the club. I wanted to bring some with me but I totally forgot them (I also forgot my watch and wedding ring, must have been in a rush to get out of town). take care, Kyle
