Cost of glass

Called local glass shop and they want $6.50/sq ft for 1/4in thick. They have to get price on anything bigger so I don't know yet cost of 3/8 or 1/2. Since this is only glass shop in town maybe it would be better getting in big city. I'm 60+miles from LR. So is what prices ?sq ft have people found when building their own tanks?

I get it for 5.25 from Ace glass in Lowell. I first try to get salvage glass at Habitat for Humanity

Saw glass was 3/ft at glasscages.com But its middle of Tennessee

Yeah they deliver but there's a fee for that and you gotta wait until they are coming to a city near you.
