Mark your calendar for September 10th. Instead of our regular meeting at the police station, we are going to be meeting at War Eagle Mill for a native fish collecting trip and picnic. The time will be from 10 am until we're ready to leave. Having said all that, we will have to put in a caveat that this is all weather dependent. Also, I've been in contact with Flip Putthoff, outdoor writer fro the Democrat Gazette, and he's interested in doing a story for the paper about our adventures. He may have to be on desk duty, but if not, he's interested in joining us. Should be a fun time, and you should encourage any younger people you know who might be interested to join us too.

I saw an article in today's paper saying the county is waiting for approval from the state to start working on the War Eagle bridge. Don't know if that would affect collecting, or even if they'd get started before our collecting trip, but something to keep an eye on. Denny
