Fish containers

Post by dennysfishroom »

I ran across some 64 oz plastic containers (boxes) that I'm going to be trying for moving fish to auctions or for fish sales. Bigger than the 32 oz drinking glass shaped ones I've been using, and the sort of straight sides should make the fish easier to see. So far the only negative is that they are probably 2-3 times more expensive than plastic bags. I also got some of the 16 oz containers if anyone wants some for live food cultures or???. Denny

Bring some to the meeting, I'd like like to see what they look like.

They are very similar to the strawberry containers at Sam's/WalMart except they don't have holes. They are water-tight, but I haven't tried to open one yet after it's been closed, so I don't know if they're re-usable. There is a pull tab to get them open, I'm just not sure yet whether I can open the container and still re close it.
