Woo hoo! I may be horribly tied up, but I will see if I can get "untied" and come up myself.

Ironic isn't it, I can't make because we have our 2 nephews that week. :(

It looked like I wasn't going to make it and I thought "man, after all that griping about the auctions being on meeting days I'll never hear the end of it if I don't go to this one." I am going, and it's a good thing because Mike Meyer can only be there for a little bit so they will need another auctioneer.

I'd like to go, but things are pretty unsettled schedulwise. If you could take some fish I'd appreciate it. Same deal as before. I may even be able to make it if things break right. Denny

I wouldn't mind going along to this event. I'm not looking to buy so much as see how a club runs an auction, first hand. I could shoot some photos of a club in action, too.

No problem Denny, I'll just pick them up again on my way home from work the night before.

Mike, your more than welcome to ride along, I'll be taking the truck so buy as much as you like.

I'm going for sure and would like to carpool but only if we are staying for the whole thing since they will be short on auctioneers this time.

Corey, I forgot to ask. Are you located in Missouri or Arkansas?

I normally get there around 10 - 10:30 and don't leave until they're done. Then we stop at Taco Bell's for supper. Ain't that right Michael, he loves Taco Bell. ;)

I'm in Bella Vista

Sounds like Michael should meet up with me, then we could meet up with Corey and take it from there.

Corey, how many of us can squeeze into that truck? Will I have to ride in the bed again?

You might consider taking a copy of a book or two. Maybe they could auction them off to be personally autographed??

Um, I haven't written a book yet, but I suppose I could kick one out in a couple of hours and photocopy it at work. About how many copies do you think I should make?

Sounds like it's Kevin, Michael, Mike, Sundance and myself. Anyone else? One more can fit inside the truck, any more and you're riding in the back. Wife said she may be back in time to take her Tahoe, it seats like 7

What time is it looking like to arive back in NW Arkansas?
It sounds like a cool event, I should be able to make it, but I'd have to be back around 7ish.
If thats to early, I could meet the carpool and follow, and just leave at a different time.

Well I know we have to clean at 6 and it always seem to last until the very last minute. I wouldn't expect to get home before 8:30

Is there still room for me to ride with you guys? Mark and I were considering driving up with the family, but...maybe not.

Ok, I will ride in the back on two conditions.

1. Someone brings a rocking chair for me to sit in.

2. Someone brings a corn-cob pipe for me to smoke.

And do you require a quilt to wrap around your shoulders as well?

Sounds like it's me, Michael, Mike, and Kevin for sure. We're taking the wife's Tahoe but I know I'm bringing back a 50, 20, and a 5 gallon Metaframes. I'm pretty sure there's room for one more. If not,we can strap Kevin to the luggage rack.

I didn't want to lose any quilts if the wind got bad.

So, I will be at the gas station at 8am.

I wish I could be going with you guys. Events just conspired against me, and the timing wasn't right for today. I suppose I'll have to wait until next summer for them to have another auction that isn't when we have our meeting. I'm sort of planning on going to their event in September, though. Denny

We did have a great time, and we all came home with something neat. The ride home was interesting, since we had five people crammed into the front of the vehicle and the purchases of five people crammed into the back.

I just finished putting all the fish away. I did it in less than an hour. Not bad considering I picked up 16 species! Now I have to go to bed.

Somebody left their "original masters" in the back of the truck. If you would like your drawings, let me know and I'll bring them to the next meeting.

Oops! Keep them as a gift in lieu of payment for yesterday's chauffeuring services. Display them proudly in your living room.
