Ooh! I'll have to go to this one. I want to get Ian Fuller to autograph my copies of his Corydoras books!

We may decide to skip the ACA and go to KC instead. We could probably go to both, but like I've said, our schedule for the summer is just crazy. Denny

Just a reminder - I think the price goes up on registration for this event on August 1st (you may want to verify that date). I think Gail and I will be going, but not sure on what schedule. Denny

I'm just wondering if anyone has thought further on whether or not they will be attending the Midwest Cichlid Expo in Kansas City. They have asked me to be the official photographer for the event, but before I commit, I need a better idea of who is going and what days, so that I can decide if I only want to go for one, two, or all three days.
The rough schedule I obtained for it is this (subject to change):
FRI 09/18/2009:
9/18 6:00 PM Speaker Old World - Tanganyika Ron Nielson
9/18 7:30 PM Speaker Selling and shipping fish on Aquabid Steve Thornton
9/18 8:30 PM Speaker Old World - Malawi - Mbuna Steve Lundblad
9/18 10:00 PM Speaker New World Dean Hougen #1
SAT 09/19/2009:
9/19 10:30 AM Speaker Live Food Workshop Ian Fuller
9/19 9:00 AM Speaker New World Dean Hougen
9/19 3:00 PM Show Show Judging (Show Room Closed)
9/19 2:00 PM Speaker Cory Cats Ian Fuller
9/19 3:30 PM Speaker Old World - Victorian Ron Nielson
9/19 5:00 PM Speaker Old World - Malawi - Aulonocara Steve Lundblad
9/19 7:00 PM Banquet Banquet Ray Lucus
SUN 09/20/2009
09/20 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM Auction
There is a fish show and a vendor room.

Can't make it until the auction. And then I'll be coming from Iowa instead of Bella Vista

I would like to attend. I don't know if I will be able to finance it though. It is the end to the summer and I haven't seen a paycheck since June. I currently trying to figure out a way to steal Denny's credit card information again, but please don't tell him, ok?

I'm had planned to attend all three days, but my sister planned a family event that weekend... I'm off to call her right now to twist her arm a little... Maybe I can get her to reschedule. If not, I will probably have to pick a day.

It sounds like we'll have several from our group there. So I went ahead and commited to all three days and will be shooting photos.

We signed up for the Expo this week, and also got motel rooms for Friday and Saturday. Hopefully, the motel is better than their rating, but it was pretty cheap. Six weeks and counting. Denny

It now looks like I just may be able to go for the entire event. Still trying to figure out the rest of the family, though.

I did pick up several ideas to incorporate into my fish room after listening to the speakers. I also picked up some Walter Worms and some Banana Worms. I wonder how long I can keep them separate? Denny
