Post by Jackielee »

Wanted to show a shot or two of the red hump geophagus I got from Evan in their new home. Will let you know if they make a family.

I'm glad you like them, your firemouthes are looking great now that they are in the tank. They are huge compared to my male convict, which is about 3 inches smaller than the male firemouth.

Good luck with them they should do well and I hope you enjoy watching them flare at their neighbors.

Geez Jack. A fish in your fishroom that's SMALLER than a flower pot? WOW! :)

I'll have to get out a camera and take some pics of the firemouths, they are coloring up nicely. They are shy though, maybe I should get some dither fish like some swordtails.

The camera has little storage for videos but you get the idea.

Jack I think we need a list of all the different foods you're feeding.

Have not seen fry yet. Still in the mouth. I moved her to a private tank and I am waiting. Got another couple spawns of red lizard catfish. Hope to be able to share some if I figure out feeding them.

basic flake food is all I feed. Well not all but I do feed it daily.
