Must be something in the water!

Post by tbalan »

In the last 10 days we have had a lot of breeding activity.
Not counting the chickens before they hatch, but here is a list of females holding now:

Yellow Labs x2
Electric blue Ahli from the the young group we just got from Denny
Ruby Red Peacock from our young group
Ruby Red peacock from the quad we just picked up at the HAAS auction
Acei

Now we just need another tank to try to raise these guys.

This is what we ended up with so far.

Yellow Labs - 1 ate her fry. Stripped 19 from the other.
Electric blue Ahli from the the young group we just got from Denny -swallowed her eggs
Ruby Red Peacock from our young group in the holding tank now
Ruby Red peacock from the quad we just picked up at the HAAS auction -stripped first holding female of 40+ fry and the other 2 of the quad have been holding for a week now
Acei-swallowed her eggs
