Just wanted to share our family's good news: Some of you know our daughter, Nicole. She is 18 and started working at Sonic April 1st. Unlike most teenagers, she saved most of her income. She bought a car with cash, paid for the repairs, got it tagged and insured, all without help from us. She is going to graduate high school on Mother's Day, and is registered for the fall semester at Crowder College, also paid for through her own hard work during high school. She has been in a relationship with a young man for a year and a half. They go to church together, work together, attend family events with each other, don't drink, smoke or do drugs. He is planning on becoming a radiologist and has been in college for a year now. Nicole will be studying elementary education.
Today, so many young people are dropping out of school or graduating, then wandering aimlessly. I am so proud of her!
Woo hoo!

Re: Woo hoo!
And so you should be. Hope the good luck continues.
