Taking a picture of your fish or aquarium is just half the process. In the old days, pictures could then be improved or modified using film development and darkroom techniques. Now, digital photography, along with proper photo-editing software, makes the process of correcting and improving your photos so much easier. Anyone can make their pictures better!(or Great!) with Photoshop

In this month's program, aquarium book author and semi-pro photographer Mike Wickham will show you how to use Adobe Photoshop® or similar photo-editing software to make good photos great and bad photos better. It is sometimes amazing what can be done! You'll learn the standard steps that can improve nearly every photo—and not just your aquarium shots. You'll learn how to fix your photos by removing distracting elements, such as heater tubes and scratches in the glass. You will learn about the most popular and useful tools present in your image editor—tools that work miracles and make your life easier.
This program will be a live demo using Adobe Photoshop projected to large screen from a laptop computer. You will see the steps in action and witness the changes as they are made to sample photos. Mike will be also be using some sample photos submitted by forum members for possible correction. If you would like to submit a photo for Mike to use in the demo, Click HERE to upload your photos to a special gallery. You can submit photos that you know need some fixing or photos that you think are good, just to see if they can be made better!
