Putting tropicals in stock tanks outdoors
I just put about 4 female Peacocks in one of my outdoor stock tanks. I'm not concerned about them being outside, but with all the oak trees around, the water is brown. That does concern me. I'll have to see what happens this summer, and maybe next spring I'll have to clean out the stock tanks. If it works, I'll have to see what else I can put outside this summer. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Denny, the oak leaves could lower the pH; could you put in some crushed coral or limestone rocks along the bottom to help buffer?

I should probably just empty the tanks in the fall, and then refill in the spring. Denny

I am off to a bad start. Something poisoned two of the outdoor pools and had total fish kills in both. Not sure if it was man or beast? One was 100 gallons the other was over 200 gallons. Mystery but bad start all the same. Jack
