Reef Aquariums are the most advanced types of aquariums in the hobby and enable the keeping of saltwater fish and all types of invertebrates, including live corals. Bobby Melton of Worlds Under Water in Fayetteville will teach us the basics of setting up a reef aquarium. Here's your chance to learn something about the another branch of the aquarium hobby.

Bobby did a great job tonight. I figure if I ask for a piece of equipment for every holiday and special occasion, I should be able to turn my 29 into a reef tank by next Christmas. I'm going to be looking into setting up that 14 g nano pretty soon, I think. Bobby took some of the mystery and fear out of the salty side of the hobby.

I found this photo of Bobby Melton giving his talk on reef aquarium basics. I'm just now getting around to uploading it-- almost a year late!
