Jack Dannels Bio:
Jack is a lifetime tropical fish keeper from the Heart of America Aquarium Society (HAAS) in Kansas City. He has bred innumerable species and is a HAAS BAP Master Breeder Award recipient. After a couple of downsizing attempts, Jack currently maintains "just" 30+ freshwater aquariums, ranging from 10 to 150 gallons, and 2 saltwater aquariums. Six outdoor ponds, ranging from 100 to 2000 gallons round out his aquatic menagerie. Says Jack, "I believe, if you have an aquarium in your possession, it should have water and fish in it. I also believe that, if you have fish in an aquarium, you should attempt to spawn them and raise the fry! I enjoy keeping, spawning and raising all types of fish and inverts."

Thank you, Jack, for a very nice talk last night. Even though most of us don't have the tank space to keep tank busters, it was fun hearing the joys and tribulations of doing so. Nice job!

Really sorry I missed you Jack. Next year ACA doesn't conflict with our meeting. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!
