Spring must be in the air!!!

Post by sskruzr »

in the last few days, I've had some longfin green catfish spawn, some weitzmani corys spawn and now the longfin plecostomus spawned last night. Unfortunately didn't save any of the cory eggs, but the daddy pleco is watching over the eggs.

Haven't heard any frogs out yet this spring. Must be getting close though. Have you been feeding the worms? Denny

I've decided that frogs singing may not be the earliest sign of spring. We've had a female cardinal start flying into our windows repeatedly this last week. I'm assuming it's something to with finding a nesting place because she does it even before there is enough light to see her reflection. It sure can be irritating when she starts while we're still trying to sleep. Denny
