I am now the proud owner of (what I hope is) a pair of bolivian rams. Petsmart parted with them for under four dollars a piece which is quite a steal. They now have a 29 gallon planted tank that they share with 2 siamese flying foxes. I will be adding candles and wine later. Cross your fingers.

Good luck. I'm still looking for a few female Germans. I just keep finding males, and not very good looking ones, either.

Have you called Cichlids and Salt in Springfield?

Also, Claw Paws in Neosho has had a pretty good supply of locally raised rams lately. That might be an option.

Rams definitely seem to be hit and miss a lot though.

I got my original pair of Rams from Clawpaws. I had a customer service situation with them and haven't been back for a long time. I'll email you, just don't want to go into details here. They do have the nicest German Rams I've seen anywhere.
The last time I was in Cichlids and Salt they didn't have any then, but I'll check again next time I'm going to Springfield.
