I never did figure out how to print auction labels off (correctly) for the HAAS auction. Apparently they start off OK at the top, but each succeeding label move up until at the bottom, a full line is on the label above where it's supposed to be. Finally, today I went to the Avery site and found a template that looks like it's going to work for me. It won't automatically fill from the master sheet, but it looks like it should print correctly if I enter the information directly unto the labels. Won't really know until their next auction, but it is encouraging. Denny

You might call Avery. I had a project a while back that just wouldn't come out right and I called them. They were great about it and talked me through setting it up correctly. Made me a firm believer in their company.

I went to their site (Avery) and downloaded their blank template for the 2 column x 10 row labels. I had to put in the headings for each label, and I'll have to take the summary page info from the HAAS forms and re-enter it into the template, but it looks like the spacing is correct. It's more fooling around on my part, but it does look like it will work. Now hopefully their Spring Auction won't be on the same day as our monthly meeting, and we can go to it in person. Denny

Let's campaign for them to have it some other time than our date, then! I really enjoyed going when we went, but it is important for us to show for our own meetings. Does Michael still have any pull at all?

Other than griping and complaining? No. They did promise though that the spring one would be on a different weekend.

That is good.

I was wondering about the structure of that club, it seemed a lot different this time.
'No one can save them all but everyone can save at least one.

President of the International Betta Congress
Chair IBC-SMP
President of the OKAA (The real state Aquarium Association)

Dont have a date yet but the spring auction will be on the fourth saturday this time so you all can come. We do listen to what people want. Cant do it all, but we do what we can. Thanks guys (and gals) for the input. We are still figuring some things out about how to do the auctions. This coming year I believe we are going to try a swap meet also.

Thanks, fishbait. We really enjoy coming to your auctions, but there's just no way to make both meetings. We would appreciate your input on our thread about planning our own auction.
