Killies I Keep

Post by Herpchat »

right now my list is pretty simple;

Fundulopanchax gardneri (auctioned at last meeting)
Chromoaphysemion bitaniatum (auctioned at last meeting)
Fundulopanchax walkeri GH 82/7 (or something like that, its the extinct in the wild form)
Aphysemion australe EBT (Chocolate)
Scriptoaphysemion guignardi
Fundulopanchax sjoestedti

I need to hatch out eggs on the FPs

I should have pairs available in spring.

Mine:
Neofundulus paraguayensis
Aplocheilichtys normani (sp?)
Cubanichthys pengellyi
Simpsonichthys carlettoi
Pachypanchax sakaramyi (only males now though)
Simpsonichtys costai (lone male, but I hopefully have more eggs yet to hatch so I can try again!)

I am partial to Simpsonichthys. So many beautiful killifish and not enough tanks.

Speaking of I am thinking of thinning the heards and probably dropping some species.

Well this could go in the SW catagory or FW;

I harvested the 1st batch of eggs from the mummichogs;

I have also decided since my Australe were not producing I would check their mop and sure enough it was loaded with eggs.

So now I have a bunch of those eggs I am planning on hatching out for a BAP at one of your meetings.
