Hey,
I put a trio red wag platys in my guppy tank. I lost the male platy along with 3 male guppies and a female. No signs of ich, fungus or anything. I think clamped fin took out the guppies, but not the red platy.
Help.

How long after you added the platies did the guppies die? Did you notice any physical symptoms on any of the fish that died? Do any of the other fish in the tank look sick in any way? What are your water parameters (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, hardness, etc)? What equipment do you have on the tank?

Never heard of clamped fin killing a fish. At least, it wasn't the cause. Its generally what they do when stressed, or ill.

It is a symptom not a disease.

yup, I would suspect its something in your water.
I have seen livebearers just up and die for no apparent reason.
