Black Cories

Post by Sundance »

Well, the black cories came in today. Everyone is fine for now, and they really are black. The only problem with cories is that you have to keep them so long before they are big enough to breed. No instant gratification here. I also got the Peacocks I had bought, but they are too small to see what they'll look like as adults. Come to think of it, I guess patience is required there too. I'm also trying to get a group of Pandas. Denny

That's what he's calling them, and they do look black. I've got them in a tank where I can't really see them in any detail, but I was looking at them as I was acclimating them. Good dark color, sort of a velvet black. I suspect it will be close to a year before they're big enough to try spawning. I had never seen them in person before, and I'm not disappointed. Denny
