Hey, Denny,
Could you refresh my memory on what food you are using to culture the microworms? My Endler's livebearers have been loving them and the fry are growing fast. But it's time to recharge the culture.
Thanks!

Re: Microworm Culture
I use a 50/50 mix of water and instant potato (I use the potato buds). It seems less inclined to grow mold for some reason than cornmeal or others I've tried.. Once the culture has set up (an hour maybe), I add the worms from an earlier culture and active (live) yeast. I've had much better luck using the bricks or jars of yeast you get at Sam's, Walmart or other places than the individual packets that are commonly available. The cultures seem to last about 4-5 weeks. I usually plan on setting up a new culture every week, but It's not a big problem if it goes 2-3 weeks. Hope that helps. Denny
