I had a friend bring me a bag od chocolates yesterday. Four nice young chocolate cichlids. New specise for me.

This was actually one of my first cichlid loves.

Good luck with them. Keep us up to date as you spawn them.

these look like south american cichlids and some how related to german rams .

That's a rare find. I can't remember the last time I saw chocolate cichlids.

Just hope to get them raised to their big beautiful potential. Spawning would be a wonderful surprise down the road.

Maybe you will have a mix of males and females. They sure do look beautiful when they are full grown.
