Live blackworms
Okay Mike, I know Sundance and I are in for a pound and a half. And Brent at Saltwater Depot will take a pound. Let's get going, who else needs 'em? We need a 5 pound minimum.

Re: Live blackworms
I'm ready for a half pound. That brings us to three pounds total. We need orders for two more pounds to meet the goal.
For those who don't know what we're talking about, we band together now and then to get a great price on live blackworms. A five pound order works out to about $13 per pound ($7 half pound) as I recall. If you would like to order some, details are below:
You would be responsible for picking up your worms at my house in Rogers on the day that they arrive-- Friday. The price would be the same as I actually end up paying, rounded to the nearest dollar. It should work out to $13 for one pound, or $7 for a half pound. If you want to order, go to https://paypal.com and click on the "Send Money" link. Follow the instructions to send money to my account (info@mikewickham.com). If the price ends up being less, I'll refund the difference when you pick up your worms. Or you can pay cash when you pick up the worms.
I make no guarantee beyond what the shipper offers to us.
Live blackworms are very easy to keep. I use a mini cat litter pan (10" x 14"). I place a pound of worms in it, in about an inch of water, and place the whole thing in the refrigerator. The worms should be rinsed every day at first, but as quantities dwindle, and they clean themselves out, they can be rinsed less often. No aeration or feeding is necessary. They last for weeks.
To rinse the worms, I merely stick the pan of worms under a faucet and run pure cold water to fill it up. Then I let the worms settle and pour off the dirty water. Repeat a time or two until the water is clean. Stick it back in the fridge.
Fish go nuts for these worms, so here's your chance to spoil your fish and have some fun watching them worm wrestle!
I probably need to know by Tuesday in order to place this order in time for delivery this Friday.

I am out this time. I need worms but won't be at the meeting to get them and the driving makes it cost prohibitive.

Denny? Michael? You're not gonna get a great food like this for 7 bucks anywhere else.

Re: Live blackworms
I could use some but I would have to get them at the meeting as there is no way I can pick them up Friday. If Mike can hold them for the meeting I'm in for half a pound.

Michael, I can hold a limited amount until the meeting on Saturday. That brings us to 3.5 pounds. 1.5 pounds to go.

I can't do it this time. I'm still trying to get to Iowa, and I can't (won't) ask Gail to take care of them for the 4-5 days I'll be gone. If you decide to wait a week, I may be able to join in. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

I would take a half pound if someone could hold them until the meeting.

Kenna, I could hold 1/2 lb. until the Saturday meeting. That brings us to 4 lbs. We still need 1# for an order.

Re: Live blackworms
I tried to get the order in, but Dan said that he cancelled all shipments today because of a chiller problem and the fact that Fedex and pretty much all airports were backed up due to the storms.

That's not surprising at all. We'll have to try again. Again.
