Check out what I found!

Post by kribkid17 »

I was exploring in my grandma's shed when I found this
ImageImage
Its 18 inches tall and a foot wide. The lid has a cusion built in so it makes a good chair. it does have some dents in it though and minor rust stains in the bottom. Does anyone know how much it might be worth? I cant find any dates on it but it must be pretty old.

Cool! It's been a very long time since I've seen one of those. 25 years? I have no idea what it is worth.

Are we to assume it's not full of TetraMin? You might find more interest on an EBay auction Denny.
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Yes, that's how whoesalers sold the bulk Tetramin. Never did figure out why the cheap cushion. If you sat on it, it usually caved in. I went through lots of those back in the day. I'd keep it as a novelty.

that would be a cool decoration, maybe a storage container of sorts. I picked up a little container of food with the same design awhile back but it's only about 2" tall so probably won't try to sit on that one :)

if you decide to sell it, let me know what you want for it. might be a neat novelty item.. kyle
