Blackbelt cichlids

Post by kribkid17 »

I went to exotic Tropicals and they had a really pretty pair of black belt cichlids. Has anyone kept these? I really want some(which fish don't I want :p) and they offered me a really good deal for a pair of 6-7 inch fish.

Cool fish but need some big water to house them properly. They are not through growing but are neat. I would snatch them up but that is me.

It was 15 dollars each for the pair or all 3 for 10 bucks each. Those firemouths produced enough fry to stock all the tanks in the tristate area
edit: would a pair of blue acaras or green terrors be too big for a 55 gallon?

Blue acaras fine for sure and the Green Terror would do well there for quite a while.

My fish room is open this week too. :D

Just a 36" one. If you're tight on space, don't worry about it.
