Iowa Pet Stores

Visited 2 stores today on our way to get Gail's "grandma" fix with the grandkids. Corralville Bay in Corralville, Iowa was the first stop. Had some really nice sailfin Mollies, and some gold Dojo's at a pretty good price. I'll be going back today, and it will be very tempting. Aslo stopped at Pet's Playhouse in Cedar Rapids. Very large store (once we found it - *?+! GPS). We were really hungry, so we just dropped off the fish. I'll be going back today or tomorrow to see what they've got. It's a huge fish section. Probably 150 tanks all at least 30 gallons. We'll see if anything there tempts me. Denny

Have you heard of aqualand pets plus? I think it's in DES moines

I don't think so. It's been awhile since I looked at shops in Des Moines. We usually come up north from Jefferson City anymore. We may end up going to Columbia, MO to see my grand-daughter occasionally, and they are supposed to have a good shop. Denny

Aqualand is a nice stinky pet shop off 3rd street I think in an older section of town. Worth a drop in just for the adventure if not the smell. Lots of local flavor well sort of.
