EBJD x BG

Post by dennysfishroom »

I hadn't really payed any attention to the EBJD-BG pair since November. A few days ago I started feeding them special again, and low and behold - they had spawned today. There must be 1000-12000 eggs. I pulled the eggs and now will have to hope that they hatch and become free-swimming within the next week.In theory 1/2 should be EBJD's with the remainder being BG's. If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Awesome! If they all hatch, you are going to have more than you know what to do with! I sense electric blue jack dempseys coming to a store near you.

And for those following along, who are unfamiliar, EBJD = "electric blue jack dempsey" and BG = "blue gene." Denny breeds acronyms faster than he breeds fish! :)

Great news, I hope the eggs are fertile and the end result is a good portion of EBJD! i have not seen any from the 2 pawns from the pair of BG I have here but I am still hoping.
