New Owner at Worlds Under Water

Post by mewickham »

Denny, Corey, and I stopped in at Worlds Under Water this week. The store has a new owner: Brandon Bell. Brandon previously worked for WUW back when Craig was the owner over on College Ave. Brandon seemed enthusiastic and is excited to stock the store up. He has already done considerable clean-up. The acrylic goldfish system that was always nearly empty-- and never lit-- is now gone. Yay! A large, flat tank of corals is planned in its place. We welcome Brandon to the neighborhood and wish him all success possible!

The former owner, Aaron, will stay on as an employee, handling maintenance accounts. Aaron said he is going to knuckle down and finally finish his college degree.

I met Brandon earlier this week as well. He seems like a knowledgeable guy, and even though he was in the middle of rearranging the store, he took the time to make sure I was taken care of. I ended up purchasing one of the many OB Peacocks (I believe Denny brought them in). I'll be going back in later next week to see what new Peacocks are in stock. Really looking forward to seeing what new stock comes in! :D
