New Tanks up and running

Post by etheonut »

I have been setting up some larger tanks with the purpose of taking down a few of my smaller tanks. So far, I have set up the larger tanks and haven't taken down any tanks.

I did get a stand built for the 90 gallon aquarium that had been behind the guest bed for a year or two. I managed to wrestle the tank onto the stand by myself without breaking anything (on me or otherwise).

I also moved a home-made 50 gallon aquarium (10 inches tall, 4' long) into the breakfast nook. It will get a lot of morning sunlight. I plan on making it into a heavily planted and slightly emergent set up. Hopefully it will work. I am having trouble finding a reliable source for plants that isn't hours away or charges an arm and a leg for shipping.

Those two tanks with the 110 gallon metal frame in the living room make some pretty substantial additions in the tank department. Just thought I would give you all an update on the progress of my mts.
