Michael Gaines is a Machine

Michael came up to my house today. We hiked the 8.4-mile Pigeon Roost Trail out at Hobbs State Park and Conservation Area. It's a hilly hike and pretty grueling. But Michael actually rode his bike up to my house in Rogers from Springdale beforehand and then home again after the hike. I told him that he should find a place to swim and call it a triathlon. The dude is a machine!

I must've done a lousy job spraying the bug spray on myself. I've got about 100 chigger bites on me and I want to jump out of my skin!

Yeah, no ticks but tons of chiggers on me too.

chiggers suck. when I was younger, my mom had us spray Avon "skin so soft" on us for chiggers and mosquitos. it smells sort of like vanilla so it's not real toxic smelling like most bug repellants and it worked great. not sure if they still make the stuff but you might check.. Kyle

One thing's for sure, 40% DEET, at least in the quantity we used, wasn't enough.

Most of mine are on my feet. I don't think I sprayed my shoes so maybe they crawled through the fabric on the top of the shoes.
