I got hit by a car!

No really. I was riding my bike and got sideswiped by a trailer behind a pickup. I had my first ambulance ride. I have a broken collarbone and hurt but I am otherwise fine. I will probably miss the meeting but I was probably likely anyway because of work problems.

Sheesh! The things you do for entertainment! Did the driver stop to make sure his trailer was okay?

Dang, dude. How long are you going to be out? Can they do anything to fix a broken collarbone, or is it just one of those bones that has to heal on its own?

Driver never stopped.
Right now I am just in a sling. I have to go an orthopedist, then I will know more.

Be sure to get an MRI! I had a car wreck in 1993 and without the MRI's many of my injuries would have been missed. I walked away but ended up needing shoulder surgery and back surgery and issues that still are with me today. Take care of yourself because you only get one body and it has to last! Jack
