Gold Peacocks???
I got a trio of "Gold Peacocks" while in Iowa City yesterday. I think the name is suspect, and I'd lean towards a Gold variety of Red shoulder, but we'll see. They had some of the best red coloring I've ever seen on a yellow fish, but I'll have to reserve judgement until I've had them for awhile. I'm always wary of hormone or steroid treatment (especially if they're imported), but these look like they are in too good of condition to be imported. Time will tell. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

Sounds like an interesting new winter project.

I'm got them in quarantine right now, but as I'm looking at them, I'm not sure if I've got any females. That would be a bummer, although I would be able to work something out if that's the case. Still decent red color though. Denny
