Central Air Pump
I just realized I've been running my central air pump for over 9 years straight (at least). I've had a spare in waiting, but have never had to use it. I sure hope that keeps up. I think the only times it's been down are when the power goes off. Denny
If it was easy, anyone could do it!

I'm not sure how those actually work, but do you fire up the spare every once in a while to make sure it's still in working order?

I should, but I haven't. I should probably also make sure I've got the pipe fittings to actually tie it into my system. Denny

Re: Central Air Pump
I bought a spare at my old house. I ran it now and then to be sure it was good to go. Then when I moved I decided to use it as the primary...it shorter out and now is just junk because it was way out of warranty. Hope you have better luck than me.
