Re: Anubias give-aways anyone?
I hate to tell you but anubias are such slow growers that very few people ever have any to give away. Only barteri is even commonly kept by all but plant folk. Your best bet is to just shell out the bucks for a little larger plants. Yes, they can be a bit expensive, but a cutting off of a rhizome would take you forever to grow it out where it looked like something more than a stick with a couple leaves.
Once in a while you will see some of the importers bringing in wild plants pretty cheap. I once picked up a few barteri for $5 each and they had at least 10 leaves each. They were pretty nice plants.
