Is it time??

Post by pinkrblu »

I'm getting ready to spend some quality time with my fish. I think I'm going to put some on the back porch again. Is it warm enough yet? I hate the weather around here. By May it should not be getting into the 40's at night. Grrr.

I've got mine set up and aging. I plan to add fish the beginning of next week.

I thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth Corey. Where have you been. Good to "see" you again. Denny
I might need some more frozen brine if you've still got any.

No, the dragonflies. Hopefully this will be more like two summers ago than last year.

Does everyone have the fish back inside yet? Last year I let some stay out until almost November. I wouldn't be surprised if there is ice out there by then this year!!!!

I still think we'll some sort of "Indian Summer" later in October. Denny

I left mine out a bit long and lost some to an early cold snap. But they have all been inside for quite a while now.

I've only got goldfish outside now. These made it through last year staying outside, so I'll soon have to decide if I play roulette with them again this winter. I may get some more anyway, so inside might be safer. I've been making screens to cover the pond and tubs, but it's going slow. It might make things a little cleaner next spring if I don't have to clean out as many leaves. Denny
